After having to move from THC cartridges I’ve been doing a lot of research on CBD oils and vape juices. I first tried the BKB CBD as a package with the pen. I liked it and really liked that it doesn’t have much artificial flavoring, I like the natural taste. I then decided to look at some bulk juices and thought I was getting something stronger when the package was labeled 100mg CBD and seeing the BKB cart was 16mg. Rookie mistake! Since with THC mg wasn’t that important (it all gets the job done), I was thinking the mg was a strength rating, not realizing the 100 mg I bought was spread through 30 ml of liquid while BKB has 16 mg in .5 ml cart. I was absolutely stunned with the realization I would have to vape 10 carts of liquid (1.6 per .5 ml cart) to get what I was getting in a single BKB cart! I also read a bit about the cutting agents and the potentially carcinogenic nature of the propylene glycol contained in my vape juice, whereas BKB uses a completely safe vegetable glycerin as a thinner, so that was another bonus. This may not be news to many, but if you’re just starting to dable in CBD hopefully this helps you not make the mistake I did. The BKB carts are safer to vape and contain the equivalent of a 1000mg in a 30 ml vape juice bottle. I also wasn’t a fan of the strong artificial flavors, my REAL purple haze doesn’t taste like freakin grape. I get that some like the fruity flavor, but I like mine as close to “the real thing” as possible. Sorry for the long review, just sharing what I’ve learned.
So hey BKB, how about selling some 10 or 30 ml bottles for refills instead of constantly buying carts?
